Established in 1970 at the foot of Hope street La Lanterna is Glasgow`s oldest family run Italian restaurant and is firmly established as one of the city`s premier destinations for authentic Italian cuisine.
Current owners Christopher Martinolli & Luca Conreno work tirelessly to maintain the eatery`s fine traditions that have taken La Lanterna`s reputation to where it is today.
La Lanterna has a long established history of serving high quality traditional Italian cuisine. Set in an atmospheric basement in the heart of Glasgow`s financial district, conveniently located opposite central station, La Lanterna is the perfect spot for all occasions from a smart business lunch to a relaxed dinner with friends. With its dark wooden beams and warm colours La Lanterna boasts an atmospheric setting for Christopher to look after guests while head chef Luca works wonders in the kitchen.
