When Bavarian Beerhouse "Old Street" opened it's doors in December 2005 it was the first German / Bavarian Restaurant and Bar in London and the entire UK. When the Marketing team tried to subscribe the new venue to food & bar websites they could not chose the category "German Food" - there was no section about Germany.

Today's success of German Bierkellers started with Bavarian Beerhouse "Old Street". The revenue of the former wine bar - a Davy's Wine Bar - was trippled within the first year which shows the great success from day 1. Today, Old Street is a well known destination venue and well known for it's authentic atmosphere.
